This application originated during my transition to the Apple ecosystem, a time when most music players were primarily streaming services, leaving a gap for well-maintained standalone players. As a software engineer, I leveraged my skills and began developing the first version of this music player over six years ago. It has since evolved into my daily companion, meticulously tailored to my requirements. After years of refinement as a development app on my phone, I am excited to finally share it with a broader audience.

This player is equipped with a comprehensive array of features typical of dedicated music applications, along with several unique functionalities:

• Supports most audio formats contained within a single file (e.g., excludes BIN/CUE).
• Features song offsets to bypass lengthy intros.
• Offers both global and per-song equalization settings.
• Includes options for global and per-song pitch adjustment and playback speed variation.
• Incorporates FTP support for uploading and managing tracks.

The level of customization is particularly noteworthy; users can adjust settings beyond standard expectations. For instance, the time delay before the "Previous Song" button either restarts the current track or reverts to the previous one can be tailored. Additionally, this functionality can be entirely disabled, allowing users to employ gestures for song restarting instead.

It is my hope that this music player serves those who find themselves in similar circumstances as I once did. Future updates will be driven by any perceived deficiencies in performance or functionality; however, there is no intention to incorporate every conceivable feature. This project, rooted in necessity and passion, will continue to develop organically. Furthermore, I am pleased to offer this music player free of charge, with the aspiration that it reaches those who may benefit from it.
